Visual storytelling requires a keen sense of empathy, with the ultimate goal being a finished piece that resonates emotionally with the audience. The ability to look at an ambiguous set of video frames, storyboards, brand elements, and pull a narrative together is essential. Organization is crucial, as keeping track of every video frame, audio element, and graphic element can be the difference between success and failure. I honed these skills for over 7 years while working in the marketing and advertising world of New York City, working on a mixture of advertising and marketing content for a variety of brands.
